Deerfield River Fishing Report 6/2/17

The water has been running high on the Deerfield but if you watch the flows there have been some windows of opportunity. There is supposed to be no releases for the free fishing weekend this Saturday/Sunday and a flow of 125cfs is scheduled below Fife Brook Dam during the day. The Westfield River has been fishing well and there have been positive reports on the East Branch and Middle Branches. Streamers and nymphs are the consistent fish getters. There have been hatches of Tan Caddis, Light and Dark Hendricksons  and we are starting to see some March Browns and Sulphurs.
