Deerfield River Fishing Report 6/16/17

What a difference a week makes. The levels are down and temperatures are up. We are going into normal summer conditions with the best time to be early mornings and early evenings.

Tan/Olive and Brown Elk Hair Caddis 12-18, CDC Caddis 14-18, March Browns 14-16, Light Cahills 14-18, Sulfurs 14-18. Attractors like Stimulators and PMX are good to throw as well. Soft Hackles and other wet flies 12-16 swung down and across will produce vicious strikes.

Pheasant Tail 12-18, Caddis Larva and Pupa Olive/Natural 12-18, Hare’s Ear 12-16, Black/Golden/Brown Stoneflies 8-12, Deerfield Stone 14, Copper John’s 12-18, Prince Nymphs 12-18, Attractor Nymphs and Jigs 12-18.

Olive/Brown/Black Buggers 6-12, Gongas  4, Sculpins 4-8
